This is one of my favorite artwork for this semester. I used Photoshop to make a self portrait. In this picture I scanned my hands, some fashion posters and hands hand draw elements. I think this picture can totally present my personality and interest. I've never used Photoshop before so it’s hard and confused to me in the first time of this project. After I fished this project I learned a lot of skills. I will keep learning and practicing Photoshop because it’s an useful software in the art field.

Richard Avedon is my favorite photographer. Avedon was born in New York to a Jewish Russian family. He famous at used simple tones and shot celebrities authentic.  In his photos he only used grey and white be the background and shot in front of the person. He never concealed person's defects  in his photos so I'm very interested in his photos.

Yayoi Kusama is one of the famous Japanese artist in the world. She is an avant-garde sculptor, painter and novelist. Yayoi likes to use a lot of dot in her art works. I really like her pop style.

I went to New York visited The Metropolitan Museum of Art during this spring break.This is my first time went to The Metropolitan Museum of Art , I'm very excited about this trip.There are a lot of famous pieces that I like. I took some pictures and want to share with everyone.

Andy Warhol is my favorite pop artist; he was a leading figure in the visual art movement known as pop art. After a successful career as a commercial illustrator, Warhol became a renowned and sometimes controversial artist. His works explore the relationship between artistic expression, celebrity culture and advertisement. He worked in a range of mediums, including painting, sculpture, film, and music.

 Yu Minjun is one of my favorite Chinese artists.  He is best known for oil paintings depicting him in various settings, frozen in laughter.  He has also reproduced this signature image in sculpture, watercolor and prints. His piece Execution became the most expensive work ever by a Chinese contemporary artist, when sold in 2007 for £2.9 million pounds. I like his work because he has good structure and imagination.
